Houzing Partners connects customers with service providers in the real estate and construction industry (individually, a "Service Provider"). We strive to ensure a seamless and transparent process for discovering, selecting, and completing construction and real estate projects based on the customer’s needs and preferences.
In the event that the customer wishes to cancel the project after paying any portion of the booking amount, they must inform Houzing Partners of their intent to cancel clearly and specifically, by sending an email from the registered email address to support@houzingpartners.com (or any other email address that may be updated from time to time), or via registered post with acknowledgment due, mentioning the reason(s) for cancellation. Upon receiving such communication, Houzing Partners will review the cancellation request on a case-by-case basis and adhere to the following cancellation principles -
Cancellation Terms :
● Cancellations must be made within 48 hours of payment to avoid penalties.
● Cancellations beyond 48 hours will incur a non-refundable onboarding fee of 1% of the Total Project Cost along with applicable service fees, as outlined below.
Total Project Cost refers to the overall cost of the project before any discounts (if any). The service fees will be calculated on the latest approved Total Project Cost by the customer.
Cancellation Fees and Service Charges :
Service Stage -
Non-refundable Onboarding Fee : 1.00% of the Total Project Cost Design Stage : 1.00% of the Total Project Cost Structural Stage : 3.50% of the Total Project Cost
Pre-Construction Stage 2.50% of the Total Project Cost
Construction Stage : 2.00% of the Total Project Cost
Additional Fees-
● Any costs incurred by the contractor during the Construction Stage for resource mobilization over and above the 2% stage-wise fee will be charged on actuals.
● For any additional services not mentioned above, charges will be based on actual costs.
Refund Process :
● The fees mentioned above are inclusive of taxes.
● For cancellations after the project has started, the cancellation fee will be as per the terms of the agreement between Houzing Partners and the customer.
● In case architectural or structural designs are completed, or data such as a digital survey or soil test has been collected, this information will be shared as applicable based on the project’s schedule.
● If the costs incurred by Houzing Partners exceed the amount paid by the customer, the customer will be liable to pay the excess amount within 30 business days from the issuance of the notice from Houzing Partners. If not paid within this period, interest at a rate of 18% per annum will apply.
● The refund, if any, will be processed to the customer’s provided bank account within 30 business days from mutual agreement on the final refund amount. No cash refunds are possible.
Modifications to the Cancellation Policy :
Houzing Partners reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time, without prior notice to the customer. The customer will be bound by the updated terms, and Houzing Partners' decision will be final and binding on all parties involved.
